Why is it that there are only 300 Australians from a non-Chinese background who are fluent in Mandarin? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr Jane Orton<\/a> shares valuable thoughts on what we could all do to encourage greater learning of Mandarin in schools, universities and for businesses in general. If we aim to build people-to-people links across Asia, to welcome Chinese Students, Tourists, Investors then learning the language is a fundamental way of understanding these other cultures. The team at Asia Advisory are making progress with Korean and often use it to build connections and establish trust. We’re some way from mastering Mandarin but rest assured it is next on the to-do list <\/p>\n\n\n\n
